This unforgettable evening features the extraordinary artistry of virtuosos SongHa Choi (violin) and Jeonghwan Kim (piano) performing a vibrant selection of chamber classics and masterworks, alongside Pancho Vladigerov’s monumental Vardar Rhapsody. The event reaches a historic peak with a double tribute to the great composer, culminating in the World Premiere of Pancho Vladigerov’s 'Bilyana Platno Beleche', featuring an exceptional on-stage performance by the festival's Founder and Artistic Director, violinist Gergana Raykova, alongside the guest artists. It is a profound joy to welcome violinist SongHa Choi and pianist Jeonghwan Kim to Burgas, and I am so grateful to them for bringing their exceptional mastery to our stage. Having worked with SongHa since her early artistic formation at the age of twelve at the Yehudi Menuhin School in England, watching her remarkable rise on the global stage has been an immense privilege. Our closing performance together of Vladigerov’s 'Bilyana Platno Beleche' is not just a world premiere—it is a beautiful creative moment, marking the very first time we share a concert stage.
