Gergana Raykova
Violinist
Born in Burgas, violinist Gergana Raykova is a graduate of the Royal College of Music in London and taught at the world-renowned Yehudi Menuhin School in England for a decade. Over this distinguished ten-year tenure, she developed an extensive independent background training elite international string players and coaching chamber music at the highest level. Her students include prominent prize-winners of the Menuhin, Indianapolis, and Joachim international competitions, alongside scholars at top global conservatoires.
As a soloist and chamber musician, Gergana has performed at some of the most prestigious concert venues in London, including the Royal Albert Hall and Cadogan Hall, and has officially represented her country at the Bulgarian Embassy. Her international performance career spans Germany, Austria, Italy, and France, highlighted by three exclusive recitals within the private quarters of Windsor Castle. Through the launch of the inaugural Burgas Festival, she brings this elite tier of performance and European pedagogical heritage back home to the Black Sea coast
SongHa Choi
Violinist
South Korean violinist SongHa is a laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition (2024) and a top prize winner at the Concours Musical International de Montréal and the Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition. She has performed with leading orchestras worldwide and appeared at major venues including the Berliner Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Concertgebouw, and Konzerthaus Berlin. She studies with Kolja Blacher at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin.
Jeonghwan Kim
Pianist
Born in Seoul in 2000, Jeonghwan Kim began playing the piano at the age of six and moved to Berlin in 2011. He has won major international competitions, including first prizes at the Aarhus International Piano Competition (2019), the Sydney International Piano Competition (2023), and the Bartók World Competition (2025). He has performed at prestigious venues such as the Berliner Philharmonie, Wigmore Hall, and Sydney Opera House. He currently studies at the University of Music Hanns Eisler Berlin in the class of Prof. Konrad Maria Engel.
